I am new to RVing and have just purchased a Georgie Boy Suite. It struggled with the rain and the windscreen wipers have given up the ghost.
Does anybody know where I can get a new/recon motor and where is good for other Georgie Boy parts.

Hi Alan
Welcome to the ARV Club forum :D
With regard to your Georgie Boy, I am guessing that it is built on the Chevy P series or Workhorse chassis and that being the case any parts for the "chassis" will be mainly (but not exclusively) Chevrolet. These RV are built from parts bins that could contain a variety of parts, not necessarily from the original chassis supplier. In the most part you will find that they are though, it is only sometimes that things get weird
Any motor rewind place should be able to rewind your wiper motor, alternatively you could try these guys http://www.dbmotors.net/10283/info.php?p=6 as they seem to keep a lot of parts in stock.
Not sure where you live but they also do a mail order system.
What did you mean by "It struggled with the rain"?
Good luck

Hi Alan. I suspected the motor on my Damon Daybreak Nothing to do with that .Motor was over heating and thermal cut out was coming in.This in my case turned out due to linkage catching due to the screws securing the motor mounting bracket to the plywood underside of the dash becoming loose and allowing motor to drop just enough to cause a problem in the wiper motion cycle.this in turn caused the first linkage off the wiper motor spindle to snag . this in turn can also put strain on the knurled wiper arm driver causing them to fail putting the arms out of position and putting further strain on the motor.I would certainly look for other causes first. Disconect motor from linkage and see if motor runs then ( take it you checked fuse). If it does you know your problem is somewhere else.It is just a case of looking then and trying to pin it down keep having a think and going back to it thats what I did you'll track it down in the end.Hope this helps Regards John
