my auto parking brake works by hydraulics and is fed by a reservoir on passenger side just behind the gearbox,maybe the fluid level is low,it may be that simple(let's hope),good luck gregg.

All,

Thanks for your help especially the wiring diagram which has solved the problem.

Brakes were working fine but the switch had broken.

Once I was able to power the auto brake and parking brake they came off and finally I am mobile.

I still cannot find the fuse to the parking brake switch so if anybody has any idea where that might be I would appreciate it.

It's really good to know that so many of you know the workings of these vehicles as its all a bit daunting at the moment.

Would you think that a trip to Signature Motors to give it a once over would be a good investment?

Whereabouts are you located? Signature are just north of Wolverhampton, so it could be quite a trip for you.
