Des,

Many thanks for suggesting Witches Craig - it‘s definitely on our ‘must go to list‘, but is very popular & so not so easy to book at short notice. We‘re new members - so if anyone has other suggestions too, all ideas will be most welcome! Many thanks for your time in replying - Derek

Just up the road from you through Calendar and Crianlarich upto TynDrum, the site is on the left just before Tyndrum, called Pine trees Leisure park, great friendly park, look them up on face book. I have been going there with my ARV Forest River Georgtown for a few years now, book ahead as it is popular, Warden and his good Lady are very friendly, There is an award winning chip shop 200yrds into Tyndrum on the left and a pub a further 100 yards on the right called Tyndrum Inn, also the Green Welly Truck stop sells everything. not forgetting the little corner shop Brodies for the stuff you need to replenish like bread and milk. Love the area and will be there next month once I get back in country after finishing work.

Hi there
the best site by far in Scotland for a Large RV is Blair Castle caravan park any of the pitches
in the row starting from pitch 80 check the camp site plan
we can drive on with 12 mtrs and the trailer with a VWgolf and dont even
have to unhook the trailer and straight of the other side when leaving
