Hi, Thank you for visiting us at the American RV Club. This is the only open forum run by a non-profit making club specifically for American motorhomes.

Please take a couple of minutes to register and choose an ID. It is completely free to join and you'll then be able to access a treasure trove of help and advice.

The American RV Club is often described as the friendly club and that's the watch word on the forum as well. Come on in, you're a friend we're waiting to meet.

Regards The committee

Fred, First your pictures need to be digital and you need to know where on your computer you have stored them, I store mine on a USB flash drive.

Next open an account with Photobucket its free. Once set up follow the download photo instructions

Okay so you have downloaded and saved a few pictures to Photobucket, now when you move your mouse cursor over your picture a drop down will appear, left click on the IMG thumb right box and words saying copied will appear.

Now go to a forum obviously ARVC start your post then when you wish to enter your picture place the cursor where you want the picture to go then click on the Img box above where you have been typing img and brackets will appear place your cursor between the ][ and right click select paste and left click on paste.

Now check in preview below if its worked, thats it

Mick

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww it works. Thanks Mick. :D

Well done Fred, I realise its off topic but it may help other learn how to add pictures to their postings.

Fred, a little more information take the posting in this thread in which I added an actual picture of a Gasglow Jumbo adapter,Image how did I do that??

First using Google I typed into the search box,, Gaslow Jumbo Adapter this caused a page to appear that actually had a picture on it of a jumbo.

Place your cursor over the centre of the picture and right mouse click and a box will appear with a number of options

Select Copy Image Location and left click, now return back to your forum posting and where you want the picture place your typing cursor then in the boxes above select Img and img in brackets will appear, place your typing cursor in the middle of the brackets and right click and select paste and something like this will appear http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/public ... x8ts=s90-c

Now just to check you have done it right click on Preview below and that's it :)

WORDS OF WARNING In Photobucket you can store your photographs in different albums. DO NOT move them from one album to others if you have used them in a thread posting as the URL address will change and the photograph you have placed in a posting will cease.

The same goes if you use a picture from another web site if the web site closes or changes again the picture you have 'borrowed' will cease to exist.

Hope this helps guys :)

Thanks for that Mick,
I,m a bit wiser on gas fittings and a lot wiser on transfering photos. Hope to demonstrate in the future. I also hope other members found it usefull or am I the only lemon in the club.
Thanks again, Fred

Hi Fred,

Take the advice of others on here and get your extend-a-stay fitted and sorted with the correct fittings before leaving UK. Unlike old threads tell you, getting the non-regulator adapter and fittings is almost impossible now in Spain.
