Air Suspension Pressure

Air Suspension Pressure

Postby Springtime » Sat Feb 06, 2010 4:11 pm

Just been crawling around under the front of the RV and noticed the pressure valves at the base of the front coil springs.
I am assuming this is the valve for the air suspension.
Does this need to be checked & if so is it a simple inflation up to a given PSI.
Does anybody know & if so, what should the pressure be?

Hi Steve
Agree with Colin although I set our airbag pressures on our 30 foot Rockwood Regent (Chevy P30 Chassis) at 85 psi front and rear and found it to be very compliant without the stiffness that comes from over inflating....
I also fitted and strongly recommend airline extenders which allow you to check/adjust the airbag pressures without crawling underneath. You can get them from Linda at Stateside Tuning http://www.statesidetuning.co.uk/spares1.htm
Good luck

Keith
